"The reason we keep spending so much money in this country feeding the poor is that so many people are poor."  Chris Hayes, All in with Chris Hayes

Just one agnostic thought . . .

Watching the news and the protesters screaming at buses full of children from the boarder facilities. One woman was screaming "Jesus wouldn't break the law."

Hum . . . I kinda thought that was sorta what he did when he ran the money changers out of the temple.

I also thought he said something like "when you do this to the least of these my children, you do also to me." I know I'm not particularly a religious person (and people like the screaming woman might just be part of the reason) but at least I do know that it is inherently wrong to scream at children with such vengeance and hate.

Pretty sure Jesus would welcome those children with open arms and a loving heart.

I'm working on a series of self portraits

My garden is doing well this year. Hope picked a few flowers yesterday.
Since I was a little girl I have been in love with the magic of fairies. Now that my three-year old granddaughter fills my life with joy I thought it would be great to introduce her to some of my favorite fairy friends.

Of course if you want the fairies to come visit you have to provide a place for them. So Hope and I decided we needed to create a fairy garden.

Here's our fairy tree house . . .
